Digital Design

I design and build websites and web applications. I’m based in Kent, and my digital work covers website design and development, UX and UI design, CMS development and email campaigns.

I handle the design and the development, so the finished site matches what was designed. I keep things clean, quick and easy to use, with the same attention to typography and layout that I bring to print. Most sites are built on a content management system, so clients can update their own content without coming back to me for every change.

I’ve designed, built and maintained sites for charities, schools and small businesses, many of whom I’ve worked with for well over a decade. Most sites need looking after long after launch, and I’m happy to do that too.

More recently I’ve been building custom web applications – tools built around how a business actually works, rather than making the business fit whatever off-the-shelf software is available. Modern development tools have made this far quicker and more affordable than it used to be, so it’s worth considering for projects that would once have been out of reach.
