For the Record is one of the magazines published by Kings’s School’s OKS Association and appears with Offcuts twice a year. It is designed both to be a record of personal and current news about OKS and to ensure that family information (births, engagements, marriages and deaths) is kept up-to-date. I was asked by King’s to look at taking what was a simple newsletter and turn it into an actual magazine, with improved layouts and typography and a new masthead. I once again created a set of guidelines and InDesign templates that allowed future issues of magazine to be produced by the school’s in-house designers.
